Please bring
a yoga mat to class with you. Blankets or a beach towel is optional.
Guided relaxation
at the end of class is essential to gain the most benefits from
your Yoga experience. Please do not leave early.
Yoga breathing
is through your nose, in and out.
Do not come
with a full stomach. Large meals should be consumed two to four
hours before or anytime after your practice.
Yoga is a
personal experience. It requires deep concentration so please
do not come late, turn cellphones off, do not have conversations
during the practice, and do not wear perfume. This will help everyone
to have a great Yoga experience.
Please do
not compare yourself to anyone else in the room. Only practice
to the best of your ability. You will improve in time.
Listening
is crucial. You will need to be performing the poses without straining
your neck to see how it is done. If you are new to the class we
will demonstrate the exercise prior to asking you to perform it.
Please notify
your instructor of any restrictions you may have prior to class.
Also remember to update any necessary information prior to each
class.
Do not hesitate
to ask questions. Your instructor will be available before and
after class to answer all questions.
